Good- condition. Extensive wear and rubbing, particularly to head and tail of spine and board edges. First volume's hinge is starting to crack, but binding is holding firm on both books. Spots of soiling on second volume's first few pages, but otherwise clean. A pre-loved set with plenty of history, ready to grace a new collector's shelf.
