This copy of the Boni & Liveright Modern Library edition of Poems from Walt Whitman is in Fair+ condition. Toledano catalogue number 97.1, limp bound in flexible black leatherette with title/author on spine and Modern Library logo on front cover in gilt. Spine/binding style #4. Lucien Bernhard torchbearer endpapers. Dated to 1925 via titles listed in catalogue (includes Dumas' Camille but not Anderson's Poor White). No dust jacket. Binding is sound and text is unmarked. Front pastedown has a large tear on the left side where endpaper is separating from cover material - this could be reattached, but a small edge piece is missing. Pages tanned, a small ding to bottom of page edges. Leatherette covering bears some wrinkling / interior cracking. 311 pages.
